Rich text editing has been an ask of Dynamics 365 for a long time. Now, such controls have appeared in the Unified Interface but only in a limited way.
In my moderately brief review, I see the position as this:
- Rich text controls are available in the Unified Interface for Dynamics 365 Online version 9.0
- They are only available for the Content field in Knowledge Articles and the Description field in Emails
As far as I can see it is not possible to have the interface show rich text controls for any other field.

When the ADFS Token-sgining and Token-Decrypting certificates in ADFS are automatically renewed, users in CRM might not be able to login. They receive HTTP 401 Unauthorized Access is denied errors.
This occurs because CRM is still using the expired ADFS token certificates. To resolve this reconfigure Claims-based Authentication and Internet-Facing deployment in CRM.

I recently configured a duplicate detection rule that used a lookup field as the match field. I surprised at first that duplicate detection did not appear to work when adding duplicated records. I had checked that the entiy was enabled for duplicate checking and published the rule.
However, after a while, I found that the duplicate detection rule did work. So even if the rule has a status of published (which means that all the matchcodes have been generated) there might be a delay before it works.

Sep 2018 - Dynamics web pages don't show in Outlook build 16.0.10730 or later
Back in Nov 2017 (see below), I documented an issue with the CRM add-in not showing web pages and getting stuck on "Waiting for a page to be retrieved ...".
The issue then was to do with an Outlook security update and a workaround was to add a registry setting.
Recently, I've started seeing the same symptom again but this time the cause is different; it seems that Outlook 2016 build 16.0.10730 or later has upset the Dynamics add-in when working on systems with multiple displays.
